"What an amazing place. Perfectly located in the center of Mindelo, we could not have hoped for a better location. Staying at this hotel made us feel like we had stepped back in time to Southern Europe in the early 1970s, maybe with the exception of the internet connection, which was quite good in our room. We took the larger family room on the 4th floor, which was a considerable walk up, but definitely worth it because of the amazing views of the ocean, harbor, and street action below from...

"It is a low cost hostel and well worth the money. Nice big room with a big bathroom and a small balcony. It was clean, but could do with a little renovation. The staff were friendly and spoke good English and they provided me with a bag with some breakfast, since I had to leave before 5 am. I will happily stay there again. "

"Nice colonial era house that has been converted to a B&B. Rooms are all on inner courtyard with a pool. Hotel is in a good location. Very convenient to all attractions. Rooms don't have air conditioning, only fans. Had to pay in cash when checking out."
