"Service, staff, food, and location were all excellent. Breakfast was included and dinner was reasonably priced and very delicious. Hotel will pick you up and drop you off if you schedule a day in advance. Rooms are very clean and meet basic needs. Hotel location has easy access to lifts (ski in) and a quick shuttle to other resorts and main entrance for Ishiuchi (highly recommend for getting rentals and tickets). "I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. "Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the station and chair lift. Kitchen staff is very thoughtful. I stayed for 3 nights, although all 3 nights were hot pot for dinner with the same ingredients, the soup base was different for every night. Staff are super friendly, making you feel welcome. The only issue I had was on the first night when there kids staying and they ran around the whole lodge making all sort of noise until late."
