Our stay was short but Khurram's little oasis was perfect for us to wind down. Very comfortable, clean, and the beautiful plants were such a welcome bonus. Check in was super easy!
Property was well maintained and roomy. Lots of plants. Notably, the beds were extremely comfortable with quality sheets. Host was very quick to help when I locked myself out. Parking was easy and only about a mile from downtown. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay at the "Urban Oasis". The property was clean and comfortable. The natural light in the residence was very welcoming. We had comfortable beds; extra linens and towels were available if needed. The plants were calming and made the apartment feel very much like home. The Check-in and check-out process was easy and communication with the host was very good. We appreciated the recommendations the host gave us. The property is walking distance to many great restaurants and businesses. I would recommend staying at this residence.
Our group consisted of two couples in their early 50s - we were in town for a Lakefront Brewery tour and some time in the Third Ward. The place was a great location for being near the brewery and a few other places to grab a cocktail. The Uber ride to the Third Ward from the place was less than 10 minutes, which was convenient. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, and we walked to a coffee shop and a small farmers market on Sunday morning. It was a very nice place, parking was not an issue, and the rooms/beds were nice - all the rooms have ceiling fans. I would stay again.
This home is beautiful and relaxing amongst the plants was lovely. Unfortunately, the host kept the heat at 60 degrees. On arrival we upped it to 73, but it took three hours for the home to be warm enough that I was not shivering. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Very clean. Had everything one would need.
Great place to stay in the up-and-coming Riverwest neighborhood. Walking distance to a lot of great local businesses and restaurants as well as easy street parking. I recommend Company Brewing, about a 5-minute walk away, for their delightful outdoor area, delicious food, and of course their beverages.
Beautiful, clean, and full of plants providing a calm environment, even with its location near so many great places. I recommend walking down to Woodland Pattern Book Center for a book to read in the great natural light of this place.
As described in the listing and easy check-in and check-out process. All-in-all, a great place and I definitely recommend.
Traveled up from Chicago for a long weekend and the space had plently of room for one (2-4 people, if sharing beds, could comfortably fit). Very open and inviting - gets great light in the mornings. Beds are also comfortable. Towels and extra sheets were available throughout my stay.
The house is a bit older, so there are unexptected creaks throughout the day - nothing you can't get used to. And the house is on a busy road, so you hear cars from time to time, but managed to sleep fine.
I had a car and street parking was always available.
Hosts are quick to respond to questions, offer recommendations, and made check out seamless.
This property is in a very bad neighborhood. Gang activity, storefronts boarded up. The owner said that there was available parking. That is not the case. There is overnight parking from 5pm to 7 am if you are able to register with the City of Milwaukee with a valid WI drivers license and proof of residency. Side street parking is slim and unsafe. The owner lists this property as in walking distance to several venues. That may be true if the neighborhood was safe to walk in. Aside from a refrigerator, there are no electronics in the apartment. The apartment is nicely finished.
Great location, lovely, plant-filled space. Bummer that the shampoo and soap were empty in bathroom and there was nothing complimentary in kitchen beyond salt and pepper. Coffee filters, but no coffee or tea or anything. Very minimalist. Clean a d super comfortable.

Cute, Clean and Inaccurately Described
Check-in was seamless. Street parking plentiful but use the link provided by the host to register your car for overnight.
The apartment was clean and filled with plants.
Bedrooms were clean and quiet with great mattresses.
Bathroom was clean and bright.
It was nice to have yoga mats and a roller. Very zen place.
While the kitchen has essentials, they are limited.
There are two random glasses.
There are a couples coffee/tea mugs and decent amount of bowls and plates.
The stove has some missing parts but it was still able to work for us.
Property described having shampoo, etc. The bottles were empty and placed upside down in the shower. Luckily, we brought our own.
We had a tiny bit of paper towels and when asked they said there were more under the sink. There weren't but its on us for not giving further feedback.
The "gym" listed is the dining area with no table and space for the yoga mats. That's fine for us but could be misleading to others.
The outdoor space with firepit and grill: we couldn't find that. There was a pile of fire wood in the backyard but that was it.
The front and side yards are beautiful.
Outdoor furniture is not provided for the second floor unit. It seems like the first floor might be a rental unit and there is a tiny table and 2 chairs but you would be in front of someone else's window.
It would be nice to have on the 2nd floor as well.
*Please note from the description the lack of TV or speaker for blue tooth and bring your own.
The place was adorable, each room was big enough for each couple. The kitchen and family room were big and very cozy, with all the plants. Seating was also very comfortable. The rental was well lit with natural sunlight and parking was easy as long as you followed the directions in the rental instructions and let the state know you were staying there. It was the perfect location for Summerfest and doing things in downtown Milwaukee. It was exactly what we signed up for, a nice, clean place and it was made extra quaint with all the plants. Very happy with the rental experience. Thank you!
