This property is the most run down IHG property I’ve stayed at. The walls didn’t even have paint on them. They were primed and no paint. You get see drywall through the texture. The lobby smelt like Mediterranean/Indian food. The elevator definitely needs service. Curious when the last state inspection was on it. The P-Tac/heat pump unit in our room cycled every 5 min. The 1st night was difficult to sleep through. We ended up turning the fan on a continuous cycle. There last remodel must have been a band aid approach to an up grade. Blank electrical covers everywhere. IHG definitely needs to inspect and review this property to identify standards to their hotel group. Saturdays breakfast was ok. Sundays was the exact same. Except the lazy server couldn’t make oatmeal, couldn’t make cinnamon rolls, nothing was stocked and wasn’t checking on the breakfast line at all. Very disappointed and will never stay at this hotel again. We travel for swim competitions and generally stay at the holiday inn’s. For sure will cross this one off our list when we swim at Schroeder in Browndeer. For the price, not satisfied at all…
