Welcome to Bayview! You haven't stumbled upon our listing by mistake and we look forward to hosting you! You will be located just 10 minutes from Downtown Milwaukee - 10 minutes from Mitchell International Airport -Just a few minute drive from Bay View Park and Lake Michigan which is perfect in the spring/summer months. Enjoy fast wireless internet, central air and heat as well as a shared washer/dryer in the basement area.

Disappointed
This rental was disappointing and the check-in process was incredibly difficult. First, the address on the app was wrong, two numbers were switched around. It took us more than a few calls to get through to the host to find out what we were supposed to do since the address given didn’t exist. We also had to reach out to get check-in info because they didn’t send it in time. The directions to get into the house were wrong. We were given 1 code when we in fact needed 2. The numbers given as the door codes were mixed up in incorrect order again. It was as if the host didn’t know the right info to give. The post stated there was a double bed pull-out couch, but there was only a small L shaped couch where the back cushions didn’t even come off. The bathtub drain was clogged with someone else’s hair and water was backing up. If I could do this all again I’d spend my money somewhere else. We stayed here for my sister’s wedding weekend and it wasn’t worth the headache.

Rough
I had to ask for check-in instructions the day before we arrived. They responded quickly that they give check-in instructions 1 hr before check-in time. So I waited until check-in time and asked again, and they responded quickly again with the door code, but no further instructions. So I went to the address in the confirmation, and after wandering the street in the dark, I finally messaged the manager to ask where it was because the house number provided did not exist. They responded to give me a different address a block away. We finally found the house and after unlocking the doors, I couldn't figure out how to re-lock them from the outside. I requested that info from the manager, again mentioning that this would be something usually found in check-in instructions (that we never received). After responding with incorrect instructions, we finally received a 7 bullet point check-in message (roughly 8pm). Generally, the place was acceptable. It was very creaky and old. The bathroom had no counter space. But worse than that, the tub/shower did not drain, so 60 seconds after starting a shower you were standing in an inch of water, and it kept rising. There were also no places to hang a towel, with the remains of a towel bar mount visible on the wall where it had been before breaking off. A broken hook was also on a shelf. The bedroom TV was missing, with its wall mount sticking into the room. So we hung towels on it. Best part: management responded quickly.

Cozy & clean
Cozy upper flat with newer upgrades in the kitchen & bathroom while keeping the charm of beautiful wood trim. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Perfect for me, my husband, teen, and our dog! Great walkable neighborhood close to all of the fun things to do in Bayview and a quick drive to downtown.
