"Beautiful location, it's a little rrspite from the world, nestled among trees and a babbling brook. Something out of a fairytale. We enjoyed the space, the quiet (maybe a little too quiet... there's no TV), and the surroundings. Do yourself a favor and visit Rissers Beach, which is close by. Our only complaint was the bathroom sink... it's incredibly difficult to use. Otherwise, it's a great location. "

"We did not stay at this location. Our boat was canceled due to the Hurricane. I was in communication with the owner and asked her if we could get a refund. She said no. I understand people have to pay there bills but this was an act of nature. The Canadian government told people to stay off the roads and have a 72 hour emergency kit ready. "Overall, the stay was great and would go again. The view was wonderful, cottage was clean, and grounds are well kept. A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. "A very quiet and lovey spot to vacation. Close to several great beaches. Easy drive to Port Medway, Liverpool and Shelburne. Cottage is small but well equipped and a good size bathroom. The Loft ladder could be a challenge for anyone who has mobility or height issues. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed several meals and coffees on the deck watching boats and the seals. The host was pleasant and helpful and resides on the same property if any issues arise. Loved our visit and hope to return....

"It was a beautiful cottage with gorgeous views. It had all that we needed, and the owner was very accommodating. We would definitely stay again."

"This property is a gem. We discovered new things right to the end. Loved exploring the cactus solarium. There was so many little things to look at and we were blessed with blooms on 3 cacti and a water lily bloom at the end of the week. My only complaint is the amazing view and the crashing of the waves on the rocks kept distracting me from my book. Lol Jon is a superior host. Always at the ready to answer our questions. "The house comes fully equipped and is all very comfortable. Located well away from the neighbours it is all very private and quiet. Dock allows for deep dives into warm, clear waters. It was all great! "
