"Comfy home. Lots of stairs. Needs a few more glasses & wine glasses for those of us who want to make it a home away from home. Written instructions would be helpful, the stove was challenging but we managed. The fridge needs a little TLC. Upstairs neighbor has a weird machine that does constant buzzing every few minutes 24/7. Hot water is definitely something that takes adjusting to. The beds need to be replaced, definitely not comfortable, in any room. Conveniently located."

"This apartment was a really great home base for us while we explored edinburgh area. The distance from town created a nice bubble of peace for us than if we had stayed in downtown. The distance from town also provided us considerable cost savings. The apartment and hosts were great. Having a private parking lot was really appreciated, and there is a bakery right next door. We ran out of the toilet paper provided, and there is a funky smell in the stairwell, other than that it was a very pleasant...

"Apartment was lovely, we arrived and called the host who was there within a few minutes to show us in, the host was great, really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There is a supermarket and a restaurant within walking distance. There's secure parking underneath with plenty of spaces available and a lift from the car park. We had 2 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a lounge, dining room and kitchen all in one. Apartment was clean, tidy and had teabags! Unfortunately we only had 2 towels...

"Good amenities - the wifi worked, the shower had good temperature & pressure, the beds were comfortable. The town is lovely - right out the back of the building, you can walk to Linlithgow Palace by taking the trail around the little lake. There are restaurants & cafes close by. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Great Hall at DOLLARBEG castle. It’s beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It’s the nicest holiday rental we have ever stayed at. Communication with the owner/host was excellent. We live in Texas and hope to visit again some day. Kay and Rick"
