"We decided to stay out of the city of Edinburgh so we could enjoy the countryside. It was a very easy to drive from the airport, easy to park, easy to get around. We were actually visiting universities for our granddaughter, so we had the train and the car for trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews. "Comfy home. Lots of stairs. Needs a few more glasses & wine glasses for those of us who want to make it a home away from home. Written instructions would be helpful, the stove was challenging but we managed. The fridge needs a little TLC. Upstairs neighbor has a weird machine that does constant buzzing every few minutes 24/7. Hot water is definitely something that takes adjusting to. The beds need to be replaced, definitely not comfortable, in any room. Conveniently located."

"Great place to stay! Everything was delivered as promised and the quality is exactly what I would expect. Not everything is tip top shape but it was perfect for us. A place to crash, shower and then hit the golf course. Had trouble getting in, thought the pin code for the lockbox I had been given was wrong. Turns out I was at the wrong address, the street right next to it has the same name but Crescent instead of Road... I called the support at like 9pm on a sunday and they picked up right...

"This apartment was a really great home base for us while we explored edinburgh area. The distance from town created a nice bubble of peace for us than if we had stayed in downtown. The distance from town also provided us considerable cost savings. The apartment and hosts were great. Having a private parking lot was really appreciated, and there is a bakery right next door. We ran out of the toilet paper provided, and there is a funky smell in the stairwell, other than that it was a very pleasant...
