I cannot say enough about this house, the property, the location, the owners....I could go on for days. This was a 5-day summer vacation for my husband, daughter and I, and this house was quite possibly the best part of our trip - and we had a great visit to NC!!
The property itself was beautiful. The house sits on top of a slight hill, surrounded by lush greenery, nearby creek and pasture. Every day we saw woodchucks, deer and wild turkeys. The horse shoe and bags set made for a great post-dinner activity. The "patio" (that word is an understatement) is beautiful. A firepit surrounded by chairs and twinkle lights. A hot tub. A waterfall. It went on and on.
The gated entry made our arrival that much more surreal. The second you step inside this house is the very moment you realize it's going to be very hard to leave. Every room was impeccably decorated. You could tell that every detail was carefully chosen. The house was IMMACULATE, from top to bottom, inside and out.
The location was perfect for day trips to incredible hiking, Asheville, breweries, other attractions, and 5 minutes from the grocery store.
Before I run out of characters for this review, we owe a special 'thank you' to Linda and her family (owners). She made sure we had everything we needed - including the bottle of wine waiting for us after 11 hours of driving :) I can't say enough about how lovely she was (is), and how much we look forward to returning to her beautifuil property.
