The Space:
This lovely lake house is just 15 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TEIC),12 miles from Lake Lure, 15 miles from Chimney Rock and 40 miles from downtown Asheville.
Throughout all 3 levels, the quality of materials is incomparable and the craftsmanship impeccable. Walking into the slate foyer, you enter into the elegant living room with a marble hearth fireplace and Brazilian cherry floors, together with an open concept kitchen and dining area. The lower level, which boasts a second living room overlooking the lake. The flagstone walkways lead to a stone patio and just a few steps to the dock with 14 ft. water depth. The North side of Lake Adger is a nature lovers paradise.

3 bedrooms, 3 common spaces with beds & 3 full baths
- Bedroom #1: main-level bedroom suite with large walk-in closet - 1 king bed - and en suite full bathroom (#1) with large walk-in shower

In the beautiful Lake Adger community in Mill Spring, NC, Lake Adger Lakehouse was built in 2006 and is on top of a hill with breathtaking year-round views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is right on Lake Adger.
You will feel right at home as you walk into the home. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped home with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed with walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with both tub and shower. On the second floor is two more bedrooms, one with two queen beds and one with one queen bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. Downstairs you enter a second living room, two additional bedrooms, and a full bathroom. These two bedrooms have a queen bed (#1) and one twin bed and one twin bunk bed (#2). The dining nook looks out over the lake and seats 6-8. The finished room over the garage (FROG) contains a king bed and a twin bed. Please note that there is no bathroom above the garage.
Wifi at this property is not consistent, so please keep this in mind prior to booking.
Enjoy some fishing or a peaceful ride on the Lake with our kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. Lake Adger also has 13 miles of hiking/horse trails. Entrance is just steps from the home. Tubing down the Green River is another popular adventure just a short drive away!
You are less than an hour from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, and ziplining. Or, spend the day in downtown Asheville and enjoy the world-class restaurants, luxury shopping, fine galleries, relaxing spas, and entertainment.

If you would like to venture into Asheville (25- 35 mins), we highly recommend the Biltmore House and a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The most heavenly place to eat is Tupelo Honey Cafe! It is worth the wait and is located at 2 locations: downtown Asheville and southern Asheville. You’ll be glad you tried it - especially the biscuits!

If you have never been to Biltmore, we suggest seeing it at least once! Call ahead for tickets, and be prepared for a fun, full day. The Grove Park Inn is also a must see!
Getting Around:
Lake Adger is known for peace and quiet. Please observe respectful behavior to all others on the lake and during your stay. There is an 80-horsepower limit on pontoon boats and a 60-horsepower restriction on any other water craft; to maintain its tranquil environment, no jet skis or water skiing is permitted on the lake. No campers of any kind are permitted in this community.
