"When we booked the property, our priority was firstly a pool so that our six year old daughter could further her swimming progress. Secondly we wanted to be central so we could visit Naxos, Mt Etna and Palermo. The property is central but sadly upon arrival, we were greeted to the sight of the very friendly female caretaker washing the dirty terrace and a very grumpy male caretaker fishing insects out of the pool which was filthy. "We spent two weeks in a villa and enjoyed visiting NorthEast Sicily as well as Aeolian Islands. The place is quiet and yet just 5-10 min away (by car) from the nearby town and motorway. We tried local olive oil and it was veeeery good. That was the last week of September plus first week of October sso evenings and nights were pleasantly cool."

Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Light too dim to read & TV reception fuzzy. The one unexpected "luxury" was extra pillows. Did not have dinner there, so can't speak for food, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - this is an agroturismo hotel supposed to feature...

"This was the last hotel we stayed in, on our trip around Sicily,and they saved the best to last. The hotel and surroundings were beautiful. From our bedroom windows/door we had an amazing view of the vineyards and sitting on the balcony at the front we could have a drink and look across at a smoking Mount Etna. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. The food at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. A lovely place to stay and tour around the area."

"We had a wonderful stay in one of the houses in the citrusfarm. The house has all the basic things you need and a private terras looking over the citrusfarm. The property is very well maintained by Ciro, a lot of flowers and of course the lemontrees. There is a nice pool area next to the house and a terras lower there is a very nice breakfast area. "This is a charming hotel, half way up the hillside, surrounded with olive, fig and lemon trees. The hosts are very welcoming, the food is home cooked and lovely and the views stunning. Rooms are old fashioned and comfortable and the pool area is quiet and relaxed. You need a car to make the most of exploring the local area and getting down to the beach and supermarket."

We went for 1 bed room cot was provided for little one(check about them charging you for this - they waive it for us but otherwise 30€ a week). Lounge/kitchen area was large with sofa of 2 single beds (whole place could accommodate 4 adults). Shower room good with spacious proportions and clean.
