The Perfect Place for Families
The Hickory House was the perfect place to stay while in town for a family reunion. The house is on a quiet street in the beautiful community of Milford. A short walk to the downtown area for dinner was very convenient and the long walks to see the historic homes were fulfilling. The Hickory House had ample room for my crew, and everything in the home was well appointed and amazingly comfortable. We will absolutely be back to Hickory House to make more memories! Brandi is a wonderful host, thoughtful, responsive, and the property was exceptional!

This house was set up for anyone coming in from a long drive and needed time to get settled in. Perfect location to drive anywhere or stay in Milford. Owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home and the details like cookies made it perfect.

Lovely home near downtown Milford
This is a beautiful home within walking distance to downtown Milford. It’s very clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard is surrounded by mature trees and it’s very serene to sit on the deck. Linens were of excellent quality as are the mattresses. The neighborhood feels extremely safe and quiet. The host left us a delicious batch of homemade cookies and a welcoming note. Everything was in good working order and the home was stocked with any toiletries you may need. We hope it’s available for our next trip to Milford!

An amazing home in the heart of Milfod!
Brandy has a wonderful home with walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in Milford! The attention to detail is impeccable...there are chargers on every nightstand that will charge all of your devices, from phones to headphones to laptops to iPads. The amenities in the bathroom are plentiful, the kitchen is will stocked and the home is gorgeous. The hot tub on the deck was the true hit with our kids, who couldn't get enough of it!!! Brandy is an amazing host who cares about you and your stay and strives to make you comfortable. This is just what Milford needs!!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Excellent home for families!!!!
This was the perfect spot to stay! Kid friendly( had a step stool in the bathroom for kids to reach the sink, toys and games for kids to play with, great backyard to run around in!) This is a beautiful home, great amenities, comfy beds! The adults in our group loved the hot tub! The hosts were so kind and so great! We were really glad this house was within walking distance of restaurants in beautiful downtown Milford! Can’t say enough nice things about this home!!!!

This property is in a great neighborhood. It is quiet and close to Main Street downtown. It is beautifully decorated, but still feels home-cozy. The little extra amenities throughout the property just shows how much thought is being put in to making this a wonderful experience. There was something for everyone….. from 5-50….. communication was quick and friendly. We will definitely stay here again for any future visits to the area. 5 STARS

We were in town for my niece's bridal shower and this gave all of us that were traveling time to be together and just visit. The house is beautiful! Brandy was very responsive to communication and right on top of everything. A very welcoming touch with the coffee/tea bar and welcome goodies. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Milford
My family stayed at Hickory House for 5 days and had an amazing time! The house has so much character and so comfortable. We were visiting family about 30 minutes away so didn’t get to enjoy all of the extensive amenities. We did take a little time to walk to downtown Milford and enjoyed exploring the cute downtown. Brandy was very helpful and responsive as a host. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

Beautiful how in the center of Milford
This home is beautifully upgraded and extremely clean. The home is perfectly located walking distance from all the restaurants in Milford and a few minutes to mamy of the small lakes and Kensington Park. My husband and I stayed here for a wedding with three teenagers, and it was the perfect size. The kitchen was well equipped, and the host even provided coffee, and all the little essentials that you may have forgotten from home. The host was friendly, the check in process was extremely easy, and she checked in on us the day after we arrived, just to ensure everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay again! I can't say enough about the beauty and cleanliness of this property!
