Charming bay front house on private beach. Bright and clean two story house with an open floor plan and plenty of indoor/outdoor space to relax. Swim, fish, sail, kayak, and sunbath on your own sandy beach. Enjoy the 180 degree view of passing ships and dolphins from the fully enclosed sun room.

Located in the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, this quiet community is away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and traffic. Enjoy the wildlife, star filled night sky, and wide open beach.

Only 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC, and 20 - 30 minutes to the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Cape Henlopen State Park, ocean beaches, historic Lewes, Outlet shopping, restaurants, and amusements.

Sleeps 6 (or more with owner approval and additional fee) people on three full beds and two futons.

One Pet allowed with additional cleaning fee. Additional pets may be allowed with owner approval and additional fee.

The house is in a perfect location for a beach vacation. It’s comfortable and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Mike and Laura are great hosts and very responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A Relaxing Getaway
We had a wonderful weekend, walking the beach, listening to the waves lap the shore, and watching the birds and porpoises play in the water. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The beds and furniture were comfortable. And the view was amazing!

Perfect family getaway
The house is beautifully set right on the bay. It’s a great area for bike riding or going on walks. The neighbors are very friendly as well. The house is a great distance from a grocery store and popular beaches. Loved our stay here.

Private beach
My wife and I and our three girls stayed here for a week and it was great! Everything was clean, the house was cool when we arrived and the air worked great. So fun being right on the beach. We brought our kayaks and paddle boards and used them almost everyday. The girls had a blast looking for hermit crabs during low tide. We spent hours and hours and hours on the beach, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Most days, on the beach you’d have to walk over 100 yards to get to the next person. A lot of the time it seemed you had the beach all to yourself.

The house was perfect for us. Two old men getting together to reminisce. The room facing the ocean was perfect for sitting and enjoying the views while telling stories. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available and having everything on one floor was great. We are already talking about a return visit next Spring.

We had an amazing time! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were beautiful with the beach a few steps out the back door. A beautiful house in an ideal location
This was the second time staying at this house right on the beach. Owners are easy to communicate with, the house is well stocked with everything one could need, beds are comfortable, and showers are perfect. (Love the new sink! ) We hope to return for abothervacation here!

Spectacular Views!
The views here are just amazing. The beach is quiet and almost all to ourselves. This is a wildlife sanctuary and the beach clearly belongs to the horseshoe crabs - not people. The house was immaculate, the kitchen well provisioned, and the basement stocked with beachy stuff (chairs, games, etc).

A Perfect Getaway
We loved our stay in this spacious home on a quiet beach. Nestled between the bay and a nature preserve, the home provides plenty of windows for a beautiful view of the water with morning sunrises. While our stay included a pretty fierce cold wind, the house was superbly sealed and plenty warm. We look forward to returning soon.

This was a great property! Just a few steps to the beach, which was very private and quiet. Kids spent many hours playing in the sand and the waves! Hosts were extremely responsive and answered all questions in a timely manner. House was clean and well stocked. Highlight of our trip was multiple dolphin sightings from the house!
