Booked ahead, rang to inform of late arrival, all was ready for us when we arrived. We were just passing through and all we really needed was somewhere to sleep for the night after a long drive.

We spent one night while passing through. They had a major storm that night that knocked out the power and destroyed crops in the area. The motel and staff were just fine.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is an older place being renewed. Living area good, bed and pillows excellent, bathroom fair. Some road noise for units nearer to Deakin avenue. I had a good rate from hotels.com and was happy with the value.

Booked as a secret hotel, I think 3.5 rated but definitely not. In a main road like a lot of motels but a bit too noisy. Was clean and the owners or managers were pleasant but felt a bit unsafe with some of what appeared to be long term residents.
