"My family and I have returned today from this villa. We had a wonderful time. The pool was gorgeous and we never saw another soul even though it is a shared pool. Really really recommend a car. Quite a distance to walk anywhere but some very nice bars and restaurants nearby. We would return without hesitation"

"We had a fantastic time staying in the centre of La Cala, close to everywhere, beach, bars, restaurants and pool. We intended to strip the beds and tidy the lounge area before we left, sorry, but we had a text to say our flight was cancelled, which stressed me. We booked our taxi earlier to get to the airport to find out what was going on and ended up having to get flights with another company to another destination Leeds instead of Liverpool at a later time! We will be back again next year...

"Great location but the house is tired and parking is sometimes an issue. When we initially arrived our first impressions were that the house looked great. But once inside things didn’t look so good. The fridge hadn't been cleaned and had bottle marks on shelves, some food stuck to another shelf and also the leavings of the previous guests trip. The bottom floor bedroom hadn't had the windows cleaned for some time, the sheets weren't ironed and the towels were old and stained. Upstairs, cupboards...

When we had a small problem with the air conditioning in one room, the host was very helpful and responsive."

"The villa is spacious and well equipped. Don’t expect modern and new, but it has everything you will need for your stay. The villa was built many years ago so don’t expect state of the art bathrooms etc. but it is charming. Little things would have improved our stay: Update the towels and bed linen that you charge extra for. Nobody wants thin, crispy towels and tired bed sheets. Pillows !! Nobody wants to sleep on a long bolster pillow that feels like a log. Several members of my family...
