Everyone had their own space to relax, but the common areas were ideal for gathering and making memories together. "It is very functional and it was clean and tidy but there is barley enough room to walk round the bed or turnaround in the bathroom On the plus side the receptionist was lovely and breakfast was good It’s very easy to get to the supermarket where there were places to eat "

"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

"We loved our stay here - house is spacious and we all had a bedroom - a family with 3 generations staying. The garden is lovely, great to play, sit, enjoy. The pool is lovely, though too cold for me to get in, but the kids did and enjoyed it. That would be my only criticism - a heated pool would be nice! Close to a supermarket - only 5 mins in the car, Surgeres,close by, is a lovely little town to explore and also has a train station to get to La Rochelle, Paris, etc! Highly recommended."
