"Das Haus ist sehr alt. In den Zimmern ist Schimmel an den Wänden, die sogar schon auf den Matratzen überging. Matratzen waren alle dreckig obwohl der Vermieter meinte die wurden alles erst gereinigt !!!. Fenster und Türen lassen sich nicht richtig schließen. Es ist sehr unsicher und kalt gewesen, so kalt das wir alle Krank wurden. Keine anständige Heizmöglichkeiten. Ständiger Stromausfall wenn zwei Geräte benutzt wurden. Duschen konnte man nur mit Tropfwasser mehr kam aus der Brause nicht raus....

Whilst we did take the opportunity to visit Rome, Herculaneum and some local beaches and towns, we spent most of our time enjoying the villa and the privacy of the peaceful grounds. The pool was well used and it was delightful to see so many bees and butterflies attracted by the beautiful flowers. "It’s not often that I’m left lost for words; however I genuinely struggled for the first hour or so of being at the property due to being totally overwhelmed by how lovely it is! From the furniture and fittings, to the pool, to the little extras such as the welcome food and wine package and complimentary toiletries, the owners have thought about every detail and the property is stunning. Set in a very quiet location, the main noise you’ll hear is that of the crickets in the trees and grasses...

"Very nice apartment with private parking. Serena was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She gave us a bottle of wine when we got there! Very close to lots of restaurants"

"Giuseppe and his wife were very attentive hosts. They were able to help arrange many things for us, including a caterer for dinners at the villa. The property was very grand and was the perfect size for our family of 10. The 2 kids enjpyed the pool. The villa is a little dated and could use a refesh in the kitchen and bathrooms. All in all, we enjoyed our time at La Villa dei Limone"
