The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. "Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. "This property was better than we expected, it was in an ideal loaction and gave us ample room for everyone. Every room had its own shower and ghey were done with great style and attention. There was more than ample room for anyone wanting peace and quiet. You had a choice of out door seating but our favourite was the front under the vine. The pool was fantastic as well. "A lovely, peaceful stay in the countryside. The century old home is well appointed and spacious. Although we were not able to access the river from the property we had 3 beautiful days paddling in the Dordogne, hiking and visiting beautiful villages nearby."
