On arrival and departure members of staff offered to help with our bags. Room 4 was fairly small and one side of the bed was difficult to access due to the narrow gap between bed and wall. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent. I had the red onion tart starter which was very tasty. My wife and I both had the fillet of beef which was cooked to perfection.

The whole place was beautiful, the food was very tasty. Yhe staff were extremley acoomadating, kind and helpful. The SPA was lovely only thing was that the jacuzzi was not working.

Charming country hotel. Lots of original features, decorated to suit age of property. Very clean and spacious room, full of antiques and character, very quirky. Restaurant food and service excellent.
