"Lovely couple running this motel. Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us great suggestions on where to look for dining possibilities, and we enjoyed a Peruvian meal. Comfortable and clean. No special channels on TV, but we were in the area for a sad family occasion, so no big deal. Hostess gave me a bucket of ice which kept cold in the refrigerator. My only suggestion for improvement would be to buy some real glass glasses. I'm always appalled by single use plastic and did not enjoy unwrapping...

"Overall this is a great place and very convenient for going to Shenandoah. The only aspect where I thought things were lacking was the cleaning, as there was a bag of trash left hanging from the door and there was no shampoo. I didn’t discover the missing shampoo until it was too late to do anything about it, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to wash my hair."

"It’s a roadside motel. Extremely cheap. For the price- it was excellent. Beds comfortable enough. Not enough towels. No toiletries besides soap. NO COFFEE MAKER. That was strange. BUT the room was big and had fridge and microwave. Overall very happy. "

"The property was beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. It made my wife and I want to build our own cabin based on this one. The location was serene but very close to some nice attractions in the area. My wife did get frightened by an animal when she went to grab something from the car. She couldn't identify what it was in the dark but do a bit of research on the local wildlife so that you aren't surprised like she was. Definitely would stay again."
