Went to some of the civil war sights and sight seeing hiked a few trails cabin is right near anything you could want for restaurants and shops but is far enough way from towns so it is very quiet at night spent every evening on the back porch enjoying the peace love the history of the cabin as well

A great escape
This cabin was a great escape from the din of city life. Very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. The owners are very generous and everything was perfect. Me and my dog had a great time.

An amazing getaway
Took my girlfriend for a weekend away turned up better than hopes for with the country view and the place was very nice she loved it everything about the place was wonderful I'd recommend it to anyone for nice quiet weekend away or longer

Great Cabin
I brought my wife here for her 50th birthday and she enjoyed everything about the place. The cabin it's self is in excellent condition and is centrally located between many points of interest. We really enjoyed how peaceful the area is and I have not seen her this relaxed in a long time.

Wonderful cabin with all you could need. Fantastic location to many many attractions activities, especially if you enjoy history. Cabin is so cozy and the decorations are real enjoyable and every where you look is something you didn't see before. Host was terrific to work with and helpul. Resetve a visit you will not regret it.

Wonderful weekend retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The scones left for us were delicious and there were lots of food/pantry items that were also there for use. The location of the cabin was convenient to the hiking we enjoyed all weekend, and the restaurants where we ate in Middletown were great. Would definitely recommend for a couple getaway!

Fantastic, adorable, and breath taking. I stayed here the night before my wedding as well as my wedding night. The charm cant be matched. The gardens are some of the best I've ever had the pleasure to see. I ove this special slice of heaven and will definitely be back!

This cabin is wonderful! It is quiet and comfortable and takes you back in time. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The adjoining Surreybrooke Gardens are unbelievable and should not be missed either. I will definitely be back again.

The cabin was sited on a beautiful piece of land looking out over the mountains. The porch was a great place to hang out and our dog liked the big yard. No complaints.

Just what we were looking for!
The serene location of this divine cottage was perfect for our get away. The owners took special care to make us welcome with personal touches such as toiletries and a refrigerator stocked with drinks, condiments and scones. The decor was cozy and inviting and we loved sitting in front of the fireplace.
