"I don't think this place should be on hotels.com. It is not a hotel. It is more like a bedsit. There is no reception. It is in a very dodgy area. Rubbish on the sidewalk. A homeless man with his pants down in the alley next to it. And my room smelled like the smoking area at a retirement home. You are given a code to get into the front door and your room. I had to call to get mine and it was confusing. The cleaning lady I met was nice and the bed was reasonable. I never did find the bathroom...

"This is the perfect spot! Lovely, clean, comfortable. Has everything you need. We didn't spend much time here as we were out and about exploring. The location is perfect. There is a train station at the end of the road, so easy to get into Whitby to save the hassle of parking. And a really good bus service, which we used on the way back. There are also lots of other places around the area to visit, we would definitely book again if we were back in that area. "

"A very smart apartment in an historic mill. Beds were comfortable. The tv signal was poor but streaming apps were better. The kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances. Sofa was a little small but the rocking chair was a nice addition. The grassy area across the car park was great to exercise the dog.
