"This is a beautiful property. When we arrived, everything was perfect. It is completely stocked, including games for the family, and an unbelievable view of the lake. "Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. "

"The house was exactly what I needed to be close to my son at Yale for a few days. The house and neighborhood was great for our dog. The host had just about everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the welcome snacks and extra toilet paper, etc. was welcomed. The only thing I would say is the shower in the bathroom was very small…think RV shower, and there didn’t appear to be a shower head, so the water came out really hard like a water hose. "I was pleasantly surprised! The house looked even better in person than it did in the photos. It is warm and comfortable and they had everything we needed to enjoy our time away. The house was clean and the surrounding property was well maintained. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to enjoy more of the outdoors. "

"This property was very new and clean. It had everything you needed. Every room was comfortable and had its own TV. The open layout of the main floor made for great socializing and eating, and the 180 views of the frozen lake (in February) were beautifully serene. "We had a great time staying here. This house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space for an even larger group. We had two couples and two teenagers. It was nice having two master suites, so each couple had a spacious bedroom with their own full bath. Each of the teenagers had their own bedroom upstairs, and a full bath to share. "Considering that area does not have convenient hotels, this location was perfect for the event we attended. It was nice of them to vacate their home so we could stay - though we wish that would have been communicated. There is no extra room with twin beds - at least not functional. The property is nice. Whomever took the pictures did a great job. It worked for us for the short time we were in the area."

"This place is amazing!! The house had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and also be able to host some of our family in the area was precious. My daughters rented equipment for the babies which worked out well. The house is very spacious and 5 adults and 3 children fit nicely. Very highly recommend. The pier was fun to hang out on but due to weather we were to enjoy the lake as much. Easy to find, and owners were very responsive. "
