The home was in excellent condition, clean, beautiful and overall lovely. Close to Middleburg, a delightful small town. We felt like we were in the country, but close to everything we wanted to do.

We had a very peaceful stay. Everyone enjoyed watching the deer graze in the morning and the kids loved the swing on the beautiful yellowwood tree. The house was clean and spacious!

Wedding weekend with friends
Yellowwood was the perfect house for six college friends who were visiting Middleburg for a friend’s wedding. The beds were comfortable, the house immaculate, and check in and out could not have been easier. The house is a split level, with a large family room down stairs and two bedrooms and a full bath. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The space is clean and light and we very much enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to anyone who will be visiting the Middleburg area.

Perfect Girlfriend Getaway
Lovely, well-equipped little house right outside of town. The fireplace was even set for us, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. (Too busy with shopping, dining out, spa-ing and wine tasting with Cork and Keg tours😂). Would definitely stay here again.

Another Lovely Stay at Yellowwood
My family has stayed at Yellowwood in the past and had an excellent experience. We returned again this time and had another great experience. The owner and property manager are responsive and pleasant to deal with. The house is perfect for a family. The location is excellent for anyone interested in visiting Middleburg or the surrounding area. Stronly recommended.

A Lovely Girls Weekend!
We had a great time at this wonderful property! It slept 5 of us comfortably, with ample space for hanging out and sharing meals (including sufficient bathrooms!). The location cannot be beat - it's beautiful and peaceful in and of itself, and then provides very easy access to the adorable downtown area of Middleburg + the various wineries in the area. We'd definitely return, thanks for everything!

Perfect and Cozy
Overall this was perfect for our needs. Only 5 minutes to down town quaint shops. Communication with owner was great. The listing is 100% accurate. It is in the country so there were a few bugs which is to be expected in the summer months. There was an issue with a smell in master bath, but the caretaker came immediately and found a dead mouse and removed it. Not uncommon for country living so it didn't bother us too much. I would definitely stay here again.

Middleburg Visit
Beautiful house on a beautiful lot just a mile from from the center of Middleburg. This was our second stay here and with family, I would not want to to stay anywhere else. Missy is an excellent host and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Girls weekend away
Stayed at this beautiful home for a college friends/moms getaway in Middleburg. Our stay was very easy, from booking, to check-in and check-out. The house was clean and welcoming. Location was definitely a highlight: very close to downtown Middleburg and a very short drive to many wineries. Highly recommend!

The bathrooms were beautiful and plentiful. The queen rooms's had the bathroom within the room and the shared bathroom downstairs was excellent too.... Very open spaces... two living rooms one with a fireplace... Would definitely stare there again!!

Fantastic house in a great setting about a mile or two outside of Middleburg, VA. Great privacy, lots of room, clean and comfortable with 8 people. Kitchen was well equipt for cooking and/or just hanging out. We will be back in the spring!!

5 Stars - Wonderful Property
We had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful stay at Yellowwood Cottage. The location is perfect, just a short drive from the town of Middleburg, but tucked away on a gorgeous rural road, perfect for walks or bike rides. The house is beautiful inside, with comfortable beds and furniture, a well stocked kitchen with quality dishes and bowls, etc, and a lovely deck overlooking the large yard where you can enjoy watching the sweet wildlife. Communication was easy, it was pristinely clean upon arrival, and the yard and trash were kept very tidy. We only used two of the bedrooms, but it is set up nicely with the four bedrooms being separated well, and all lovely. It was just perfect for our needs, and among the best VRBOs we have rented. We enthusiastically recommend Yellowood Cottage. Thank you, Missy, we loved our stay!

Weekend at Yellowwood
Yellowwood Cottage is located in a lovely bucolic setting and is a quick drive away from the heart of Middleburg. Our visit occurred in late May, so we were engulfed in restful green as we traveled the lane to the house. Upon each arrival we were pleasantly greeted by butterflies enjoying the beautiful flower bed at the front entrance. The interior of the house is welcoming also, as it is comfortable, updated, and attractively furnished. The kitchen is well-stocked. Since we were in the area for a family wedding, we had limited time to enjoy the porches and inviting areas for walks…which made us wish we had booked an additional day. Definitely recommend this property!
