YELLOWWOOD COTTAGE - Private Outdoor Space Sophisticated Sunny Luxurious Indoor

Tucked off a rural road and surrounded by trees on three acres 1/2 mile east of the quaint village of Middleburg. This completely renovated cottage has four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all bright, fresh and beautifully appointed with modern and sophisticated furnishings.

You will love the white china and twig flatware as you dine at the glass topped chrome table to seat 6. A modern and sophisticated kitchen has high end appliances and cookware and a large island that looks out windows in three directions.

Kick back with a glass of wine on a comfy club chair as sun beams in on three sides around you or work at the desk that overlooks the large yellowwood tree.. Large TVs on articulating arms can be adjusted for those "not to miss" games both upstairs and in the walk out basement rec room.

A deck allows you to effortlessly wander out for a quiet conversation or stretch out overlooking the serene landscape.

All bedding is new and fresh with options that include two queen rooms, one room with a pair of twin beds; one bunk room with full size bed down and twin up. Bathrooms are efficient, modern and luxurious.

Perfect House for Family
My family stayed here during a weekend trip to Middleburg for a wedding. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The downstairs and outside areas were perfect for our young kids.

Middleburg Visit
Beautiful house on a beautiful lot just a mile from from the center of Middleburg. This was our second stay here and with family, I would not want to to stay anywhere else. Missy is an excellent host and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Stayed at this beautiful home for a college friends/moms getaway in Middleburg. Our stay was very easy, from booking, to check-in and check-out. The house was clean and welcoming. Location was definitely a highlight: very close to downtown Middleburg and a very short drive to many wineries. Highly recommend!

This was my second time staying at Yellowwood Cottage and I can only imagine I will find a reason to come back for a 3rd. The cottage is as cute as can be, has everything you need, and in the perfect location. Missy, the owner, is wonderful! She is responsive, helpful, very kind, and super easy to communicate with.

The bathrooms were beautiful and plentiful. The queen rooms's had the bathroom within the room and the shared bathroom downstairs was excellent too.... Very open spaces... two living rooms one with a fireplace... Would definitely stare there again!!

Fantastic house in a great setting about a mile or two outside of Middleburg, VA. Great privacy, lots of room, clean and comfortable with 8 people. Kitchen was well equipt for cooking and/or just hanging out. We will be back in the spring!!

Lovely, quiet comfortable home
The house was immaculate and comfortable with plenty of room for five adults. Lovely walks in the area. House was very private and a perfect location for touring the area. Kitchen very well equipped. The only thing to be aware of (and this may not be of concern to everyone) the two smart TV’s only get streaming services not regular TV channels.

The house and property are better than the owners great pictures. The house was very comfortable with all amenities. Missy was gracious and accommodating. Great care is taken with the landscape with an eye toward fitting in naturally! Well done. Our party included one and four year olds! They had a blast!

Everything was as advertised and very clean. The only qualification is the the two bedrooms with baths do not have queen size beds. The double beds are two small for mature adults and the matresses are too soft. I think such a nice rental should have queen sized beds.

Breathing a blessing
The previous reviews are all accurate: Yellowwood Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable, immaculately kept property very close to a picturesque town. I can only add that for us, a family of four that lives in a noisy, polluted city, staying in the cottage got us to meet deer in the early mornings, and fireflies in the dusk. This was no less than magical, only surpassed by the sheer joy of breathing the air of the Virginia countryside every day. We feel that we have been very lucky, and thank the owner for it.

Weekend at Yellowwood
Yellowwood Cottage is located in a lovely bucolic setting and is a quick drive away from the heart of Middleburg. Our visit occurred in late May, so we were engulfed in restful green as we traveled the lane to the house. Upon each arrival we were pleasantly greeted by butterflies enjoying the beautiful flower bed at the front entrance. The interior of the house is welcoming also, as it is comfortable, updated, and attractively furnished. The kitchen is well-stocked. Since we were in the area for a family wedding, we had limited time to enjoy the porches and inviting areas for walks…which made us wish we had booked an additional day. Definitely recommend this property!

5 Stars - Wonderful Property
We had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful stay at Yellowwood Cottage. The location is perfect, just a short drive from the town of Middleburg, but tucked away on a gorgeous rural road, perfect for walks or bike rides. The house is beautiful inside, with comfortable beds and furniture, a well stocked kitchen with quality dishes and bowls, etc, and a lovely deck overlooking the large yard where you can enjoy watching the sweet wildlife. Communication was easy, it was pristinely clean upon arrival, and the yard and trash were kept very tidy. We only used two of the bedrooms, but it is set up nicely with the four bedrooms being separated well, and all lovely. It was just perfect for our needs, and among the best VRBOs we have rented. We enthusiastically recommend Yellowood Cottage. Thank you, Missy, we loved our stay!

Wedding weekend with friends
Yellowwood was the perfect house for six college friends who were visiting Middleburg for a friend’s wedding. The beds were comfortable, the house immaculate, and check in and out could not have been easier. The house is a split level, with a large family room down stairs and two bedrooms and a full bath. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The space is clean and light and we very much enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to anyone who will be visiting the Middleburg area.

Perfect Girlfriend Getaway
Lovely, well-equipped little house right outside of town. The fireplace was even set for us, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. (Too busy with shopping, dining out, spa-ing and wine tasting with Cork and Keg tours😂). Would definitely stay here again.
