"It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. "

Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. "This is the perfect place for a quiet get away if you don’t mind driving everywhere. It’s tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is pleasant. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and the staircase leading there is VERY narrow and would be inaccessible to many with limited mobility. Also, it would be difficult for people of larger builds carrying small children. The beach is rocky, but that’s related to where it is on the cape. Not an ideal spot for infants and toddlers. "Quaint, clean house. Beautiful backyard that has a nice flat section for sitting and then slopes down to the lake. It was wonderful to have kayaks for afternoon jaunts on the lake after a morning of walking at the Mashpee Town Beach- which is connected to the South Cape Beach State Park. Drawbacks are 1) the property manager never got back to us with a solution to an issue. 2) the neighbor's house is very close and they have a TV on their porch which ruins a quiet evening on the renter's porch."
