"The concierge was the best informed we have experienced. Bar is excellent. Hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only complaint is that the shower did not have a grab bar, at least not in our room. "

"Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again. "

"This hotel was a lovely place to stay and was convenient for walking to most attractions. It’s only a 20 minute walk from Amsterdam Central and 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop. "We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"We booked this Hotel as it was close to friends of ours and handy for the train station. The Bar area was very welcoming as are the staff. Spotlessly clean, great Service and although we didn't have a meal there the Bar Snacks were lovely."

Relaxing

"This was our second stay. Last time we appeared to be above the kitchens with associated for slamming. This time we were further away and it was very peaceful. The room was very well laid out and comfortable. Lots of interesting things going on in and around the hotel. Parking can be problematic but we arrive late and leave early, so not a problem for us."

"The neighborhood is quiet and safe and very walkable. The hotel food and drink options are incredible (the best burger I’ve had in my life) and the front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We ended up extending our stay three times because we loved the city and our accommodations so much. "

Convenient location, lovely place to stay

"We chose to stay here as we were visiting Efteling - we were very pleased with the location as it is about 10 minutes’ walk away from the park! Free parking with EV charging by RFID card. There is a supermarket round the corner and a couple of restaurants dotted about not too far away. The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious, lots of options at the buffet. Would definitely stay again."
