"The views are spectacular , the staff at the reception are nice, not that much at the Zion spa . English is a problem , they all speak Slovak and polish. No air condition in the whole hotel. How come , a 5 star hotel without air condition in the summer where temp is 95. They asked us to open the window and they brought us a fan from 1990 . "I is really great hotel within beautiful part of Tatry. Rooms on both sides offer lovely views, spa area is clean and fantastic to relax. Overall services are on high level and pretty much whole personnel speaks english. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for quiet place, quality interiors and great views. "

"Fantastic hotel set in an 800 year old castle. Stunning building, rooms beautifully furnished with all amenities, delightful castle grounds, magnificent setting for the restaurant with quality food. Breakfast excellent too. Difficulty with room keys on arrival and had to return to reception for replacements. "The stay was enjoyable overall, good food and nice place, clean kids area, very beautiful surroundings. However, we had a few issues. Our room was full of insects. Very huge bugs which are spread around the whole area where the hotel is located were constantly appearing in the room. The water in the pool could be warmer, especially for the kids area. "Truly exceptional property in the town center. Our room overlooking the fountain was spacious and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Staff were gracious and made us welcome. We are far from athletes but managed stairs to first floor with no trouble."

"Ok hotel in tiny vilage, area quiet but there is literally nothing nearby... All food, gas and supermarket needs Have to be gotten in Poprad 15 to 20 minutes drive away. Rooms super plain and spartan. Towels were not change daily, not sure why... Breakfast was average. Overall if You want to send a night in this area there are options in Poprad or in Strebske Pleso, there is No real reason to Look eksewhere... "

Wonderful accommodation in every way

"Very clean accommodation and had everything we needed while staying there. Plenty of wardrobe space, the bed was very comfortable and the shower amazing! Hosts were lovely and quickly responded to any questions, and always helpful. We used their service to pick us up from the airport and back again, which was extremely handy. It was great to stay right next to one of the slopes (Lúčky Jasná) and there is a free ski shuttle bus which runs regularly throughout the day to take you to all surrounding slopes, of which there are many for all abilities. The local shop is very convenient for all your basic needs (cakes are a must!) and some restaurants around in walking distance. I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again when returning to the area. "

"The stay was enjoyable overall, good food and nice place, clean kids area, very beautiful surroundings. However, we had a few issues. Our room was full of insects. Very huge bugs which are spread around the whole area where the hotel is located were constantly appearing in the room. The water in the pool could be warmer, especially for the kids area. The hair dryer was not functioning, so we had to pick up a replacement in the reception. I would expect a room service for this at least. Some minor things which were not expected in hotel in the 4*category and could be improved. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the stay."
