The property was a little older than the pictures led me to believe. The lobby area was nice clean and old work feel. Our room needed new carpet and the bathrooms are small with a traditional tub with shower combo. Very small. They have no water in rooms. Free or for purchase. No filtered water system on site to get water for the room or to fill your own bottle. It’s not quite the level of service you expect for Bal Harbour area. We did have an unexpected delight, Jennifer served us in the coffee shop and was exceptional. She was on her own and very busy. Had a great spirit and did a wonderful job! The hotel has an old world feel(built in the 40’s). With a little freaking up it could be spectacular.

We loved the location. The ocean front was absolutely stunning. All of the pool and beach attendants were amazing. Robert guided us on were we could walk along the beach paths to stores. Michael the concierge was very helpful with all kinds of info. Jennifer at the snack bar was a joy to be around.

I recently stayed at the Sea View Hotel in Bal Harbour, and while the location is fantastic, the property itself is quite dated. Opened in 1948, it certainly shows its age, which can detract from the overall experience. My first room was a standard setup, featuring a bed, TV, and bathroom. While the air conditioning and heating worked fine, I encountered a significant issue with the shower—it had very low pressure, making it nearly impossible to take a proper shower. I reported this to the front desk, and maintenance promptly came to take a look. They provided a temporary fix, but it quickly became clear that it wouldn’t hold. To avoid further disruptions to my vacation, I requested a room change. The second room was an improvement in functionality, though it had a bit of a musty smell. Thankfully, there were no further issues, which allowed me to relax a bit more during my stay. Another downside was my experience at the bar. They seemed to lack a decent selection of standard beers, including Corona. I ended up settling for a Corona Light, but when I finished the bottle, I noticed it was expired by six months. I brought this to the bartender's attention, but to my surprise, he didn’t remove the other ten expired beers from the shelf. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. My sister and I stayed at the Sea View Hotel, Bal Harbour the second week of September 2024. It is an elegant beautiful resort hotel located at the northern tip of Miami Beach. Our room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. The service at the hotel, restaurant, pool and beach were outstanding. Amenities were great and the beach, well… incredible. Because this is a resort hotel the pool and beach have towels, chairs and umbrella service. We didn’t visit the gym, but the trails by the beach are just perfect. In case you didn’t know, there is a beautifully landscaped 2 mile ribbon shape trail called “scenic path” between the beach and the hotels with several sculptures to admire along the way while you walk, run or bike. This is the perfect location for enjoying a summer vacation with everything you need at the hotel and surrounding areas. We had a blast!!!
