BUYER BEWARE
This stay was so terrible we left after the first night. Host did not respond to a single message throughout this booking. I tried reaching out multiple times for checkin info but did not get a response. Called Vrbo, the owner told Vrbo staff the booking was moved to a different property in the same area. No reason provided. We needed to stay in Wynwood for an event that started a few hours after check in so our hands were tied.
We arrive to one of the most horrible properties I’ve ever stayed in. One towel for two people for two days. One tea towel. Nothing else. No towels, face cloth, hand towel, bath mat. not even paper towels. A nearly finished toilet roll. No extra rolls provided. Water leaking on the kitchen floor. Threadbare sheets with no blankets or anything that will make you comfortable. Mouldy shower curtain. Wi-Fi works.
I reach out to the owner to give him an opportunity to fix the issues and get no response. Early the next morning I call Vrbo. Staff also could not reach the owner.
Avoid this property and avoid vrbo. They seem fine to continue to list this property knowing guests will be redirected to a substandard unit elsewhere. We were told we would get a full refund only for Vrbo to subsequently reverse its position and deny any refund. I’m not the only reviewer who got moved with no notice. Buyer beware.
