Issues locating my reservation at check-in. The process was not smooth. This unit was neat but wasn't cleaned well. Self parking is awful after 10pm. There were no parking spaces, yet the hotel charges $25 per night for self-parking. Valet is $10 more. The hotel wouldn’t service the unit so I contacted the number and email address given to me, per the confirmation. No one called me back or responded to my email the entire length of my stay. I was in this unit for nearly a week. The first call was made on day 2. I called again day 3 and sent an email. I just needed fresh towels and a means to tidy up since the room wasn’t being serviced. Traveling with children (3 and 9 year old boys) and my fiancé, I needed to keep this very small unit tidy as much as possible and I had no help from the owner or hotel to do so. Communication was awful and I was very disappointed that no one bothered to call me back or respond to my email. What if there was a real emergency? For what this room costs, including parking, I could’ve stayed at a different place, with services. It was too late to cancel and book somewhere else so we decided to stay.
Overall, the hotel was decent and was a good walking distance to Hallandale Beach. The pool was clean and had a great view of the drawbridge and pier. My boys loved it. I wouldn’t book here again but for the purpose of my stay, it was fine.
