Loved the room - very stylish, comfortable and had a lovely river view! Customer service was great, easy check-in, nice pool area and neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

We loved the location as it was easy to get to most places, however a little removed from the really busy spots. The property is currently still in renovation stages, it has great potential however we weren’t aware that not all of the facilities were available yet. Some minor room tweaks could have made the room better, but overall we did enjoy our stay. The only staff we saw on site were cleaning staff, and as your room doesn’t get cleaned while you are staying, we did have to ask a few times for extra toilet paper and towels. 5 minute walk to the beach!

I have mixed feelings about my stay. While we enjoyed our first night, the automated nature of the experience felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, which wasn't our intention. Due to the wildfires in LA, we had to extend our stay, but the rate was significantly higher the second night, and the service wasn't as good. We had to request housekeeping, and some amenities weren't replenished. This caused considerable inconvenience, and I was disappointed by the lack of understanding regarding our extended stay due to the wildfires.

Let’s start with the hotel has great potential. They are apparently in a renovation period of the facility. Rooms, lobby, and outside areas have been updated. However it was not mentioned that the hotel is still undergoing renovations. There were several things still under renovation and needing updating. The room itself was very nice. You could tell the sheets were new (never washed and felt rough) and the mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable. Overall I’d be happy to see how the place really turns out!

Upon entering our room, we weren’t very pleased. The bathroom was not clean and the hot water took at least 10 minutes to warm and it still was not hot. Our tv did not work/turn on. We had an issue with the safe in our room and we were told that someone would come help us at 10 am the next morning. They did not come until 2 hours later. Checkout was at 11 am.

The room smelled of mildew. AC wasn’t working the first night. Toilet wasn’t flushing properly. My clothes smelled bad days after just two nights from the room. No staff that could help with the room on site. Was told they only clean room at checkout despite saying daily cleaning on booking site. I was busy doing things during the day and didn’t have time to change the room. Doubt the smell would have been any different though. Entrance area also smelled strong of mildew. Couldn’t get into the place first night with the code they provided. Finally they had to leave the entrance door open.
