I just stayed at the Hotel Kali la Raza in Mexico City from March 12 to 21. Personally, I was very
satisfied with this hotel. It's easy to get to from the airport and is located at the junction of
major thoroughfares, and the traffic can sometimes make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
However, if this is the case (it was mine anyway), the hotel's reception staff are very friendly,
helpful and receptive to guests' requests, and will quickly and favorably resolve your situation
according to the availability of rooms at the time. The hotel is just 10 steps from the Circuit Metrobus station (lines 1 and 3), making it easy and affordable to get to and from tourist attractions and other parts of the city. Cleanliness is exquisite in this hotel, and it's in every nook and cranny. I did, however, deplore the “smallness” of the lobby. I think the small gym there could be moved elsewhere or to the upper floors and thus extend the lobby somewhat. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would definitely return.
Room tip: avoid rooms facing the main street (e.g. 114, 214,...) because of the traffic on this busy thoroughfare.
