Not up to standard
A real shame the experience here. The place is very large, location is good, rooms are spacious but the following let it down:-
1. Deceiving: it advertises as having free parking but in reality there is no designated parking belonging to the hotel. It is a case of finding road parking which is difficult nearby.
2. Service: no one is there to man the desk out of check in hours. If you're stuck then it's tough luck until the check in hours start again. The telephone number for the hotel is not answered. Calls are not returned so if you're stuck, you're stuck. No one to give instructions as to how to enter the main door (which is locked). Wrong key given to us to get through this main door (luckily we returned during daylight/check in hours) and happened to see the receptionist on the balcony on two occasions to get help.
3: free wifi: again deceiving. If only you can connect to it in the rooms without having to stand outside the modem in the corridor.
4: ants in bathroom
6: no hot water. When raising this to receptionist at approx 6pm, told that she will get an engineer out tomorrow to look at the problem. No initiative or solution given by receptionist to resolve problem. Finally when we lost all hope, receptionist offered us to use her shower in her room. However we were required to book a time with her to do this. Last day for us, was a later one so didn't have chAnce. Very unpleasant.
