"This is a stunning property, with very friendly helpful staff. It is very clean & comfortable. It is on the flight path, but there went that many planes in & out so not a huge problem. The breakfast is fantastic & some of the hot food changes for variety. Plenty of options for us as we have to eat gluten free. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Stunning."

"Ira Hotel was such a wonderful place to stay! The staff was amazing — a special thank you to Vanessa, such an incredible and kind person. My stay was quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the bed was extremely cozy. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and would love to come back again!"

"This was the quietest location with amazing view, equally amazing staff, very friendly and speak English very well. I would come back here to stay again and again. We when to visit Fira and Oia but they are too full of tourists, I prefer to be a little farther and transportation is easy to find. The public bus is easy to get and cheap. This was worth the money and we went by the recommended restaurants to eat my favorite was in Oia Pelicans rooftop has great views and amazing food, the lamb shank and chicken svalaki is worth the wait. "

"Honeymoon suite was stunning, as were the views. Breakfast staff were incredibly polite and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! The only thing I would say is the cleaner would come in at completely different times every day and would want us out the room straight away. Twice she let herself in whilst I was in the shower and scared me half to death. One day she would come at 13:30 and the next she’d come at 9:30 so it was impossible to predict. We had got in from a wedding at 2am and she woke us up banging on the door at 9:30 wanting to clean so we had less than 5 minutes to get changed and leave the room! Perhaps “do not disturb” signs would be useful. We would definitely stay again though as we had a lovely time aside from the minor disturbance of the cleaner. "
