Nous avons pu nous reposer au calme et profiter du barbecue. Les jeux, surtout le jeu de fléchettes, ont été fort appréciés par les enfants. La région est sympathique à découvrir."

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"This is a wonderful location, very tranquil but also easy to get to beaches and other places of interest. The property was spotless and nicely decorated. Communication with the host was excellent - lots of helpful tips and very responsive. Bring your own linen - I hadn't realised but was able to hire some. "Three days before leaving the UK we were contacted by the owner's agent saying we had to leave a large € deposit (now increased). I offered a credit card but they would only accept a cheque or cash. Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. This is not communicated in the booking and I eventually I found it hidden, in French, in a sub menu, under House Rules, on the UK website. On departure we had to get to...
