"It was a great property with 2 master suites and 2 living spaces. We had 4 kids under 8, and it was easy to have them go outside or go to another place to play. We all loved the property size, kids did sledding and nature walks.The only draw back was slow streaming."

"Very nice property. It was surprising how quiet the interior was with it being right on a main road. The only dips were the water dispenser and the ice maker in the freezer not working and the upstairs could use a better air conditioner. The bathroom window upstairs wouldn't stay open so we could let the cooler evening air blow through. Other than that, very nice and comfortable to be at and base out of for a few days."

"We.enjoyed our week in "Fort Dolores" so much. Hubby hunted in the nearby forest while i took walks around town, read, and knitted. We had some great meals.out in the evenings at local restaurants. As for the property, it is spacious, comfy, fully equipped, quiet, and charming. Steve and Robby are great hosts. They even accommodated our reservation change atthe last minute. Absolutely recommend this VRBO."

"This home & property is very unique. I have stayed in many places and have to say this was so beautiful with very well appointed details.EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! And the furniture was not only beautiful but also very comfortable. Many different sitting areas outside and gorgeous antique touches mixed with contemporary furniture as well.I would absolutely recommend this place and would also love to visit again. "We were absolutely overjoyed to discover this beautiful gem for our stay in the Mancos area. The location is idyllic - open plain surrounded by beautiful sunrises and dramatic, photo worthy sunsets. The home is beautifully renovated, the beds and pillows are comfortable, everything is clean and in working order (and the wifi works!). The best Air B&B we have ever stayed in. Definitely returning to this charming and affordable gem."
