"Didn’t realise that the hotel didn’t have a night porter , so couldn’t check in. Ideally located for business trip to local pharmacy company, but hopeless if you can’t gain access. I would have thought it may have been courteous if the hotel would have prompted me as we’ve become so reliant on assumptions that text has been read, that o ended up sleeping outside in the car overnight when the temperature was minus 3."

"I was really surprised by how good this hotel was, really good condition, nice location, super comfy bed, kitchen facilities in room, good shower. The breakfast buffet was really tasty, good eggs and sausage. In the evening the restaurant serves really good food at a decent price, and the beer and service is good. Staff were fun, helpful and professional. Local environment is quiet, the local town a 15 minute walk, but its an easy and safe walk, and worth it as there are a couple of bars and restaurants and its quite a nice, historic old town. "

"The place looks appealing and neat looking. The beer and the food is good. Staff are friendly enough, but thats where it ends. Looks like they cheaped out on the rooms. No TV, no radio, no phone, no clock. Nothing in the room but the bare minimum of furniture. Some people may like that rustic type of stay, which includes no hot water. Tried to take a shower, but the hot water lasted about a minute (no exageration) and went cold. There was one main light that still left the room rather dark and one light in the bathroom, switched on from by the main door. And the bathroom fan had a very annoying sound. I normally like to keep thebathroom light on so i can find it in the middle of the night. But not with that fan noise. Even the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows felt like they were as old as the building. Did not sleep well at all. I definately would not stay there again."
