"Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."

"Great location for access to everything we wanted to do. The availability of a kitchenette was so good, as it gave loads of flexibility. Room was a spacious, but a little too warm, and the aircon didnt work. My room was facing the courtyard garden, so was much quieter than the front, so was able to have the window open all night. The garden needs some TLC, and rubbish and ashtrays there not emptied on a daily basis. Not a big fan of the plastic grass, either, which looked dirty, and is...
