"Lovely location situated at the top of St Ives … a bit of a trek up the hill from the harbour. Hotel was lovely. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel over looking tennis courts and gardens. Buffet breakfast very nice. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool . "

"Super location, overlooking the station and Porthminster Beach. Staff were friendly and the bed comfortable. Lots of dining options in St Ives, a short walk away. If you're looking for good value, this is a great option. Breakfast was buffet-style and you could ask for freshly cooked poached or fried eggs if you didn't want them scrambled. "Lovely hotel showing it age but in an elegant way. Food good breakfast was enjoyable and portions good. The location is stunning views to die for. Fantastic staff nothing to much not that we asked for much. The only drawback was the “caravan module toilet / shower room “ now I’m an above average sized person but if I’d been twiggey I would have struggled. "The hotel was very chilled and welcoming from the moment you walked in. The bar and Restaurant have lovely views out over the beach which adds to that relaxation. Spa was great; but the only small issue was there wasn’t anywhere to sit down by the pool, hot tub etc, if you just wanted a 10min break from it all, as per other spa’s we have been too; otherwise very enjoyable; would highly recommend; we will definitely be returning. "

"This is a lovely hotel with friendly courteous staff. The bedrooms are large and well appointed. Breakfast is cooked to order and eaten overlooking the harbour. There are 2 places to eat on site for lunch and dinner or you can walk into Falmouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. "

"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "

"The accomodation was amazing and the private hot tub the best I have been in. Make sure you take EVERYTHING with you if you plan to cook as absolutely nothing there atall, not even salt and pepper. Very disappointed in the fact the Sauna was not working nd we had not benn informed off this and then when we arrived they closed the gym (one of the reasons I booked this place) to paint it....surely this could haave been done earlier in the year before the park got busy? Several people were there...

"What a beautiful spot! we had a sea view in a lovely room, couldn’t fault it. Meal in the restaurant was really good although one of our party had to wait a while for a desert. Breakfast was excellent, let down a little by one of our party being forgotten, had to find a staff member to rectify the issue - wasn’t because of workload as we witnessed three of the same breakfasts delivered before us. "Lovely property in a great location with fantastic history. The welcome and attention by the staff was excellent. However, the suite we had was pleasant enough but was, in our opinion, rather poorly furnished and set out. It didn't spoil our stay but it could have been more comfortable."

"Had a fabulous break away with my mum for mother's day. The hotel is a little dated and had creaky floors however, when my mum didn’t sleep well on the 1st night, she got moved to a beautiful top floor sea view double (which she loved). We ate in the bistro on night 1 and the food was very average (and clearly had been left under a heat lamp all evening). "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
