This nicely furnished holiday home located in a passive house is located in an idyllic and quiet location in Hunsrück in a side valley in Dhron. A passive house is a house without heating, but with controlled ventilation. The holiday home with its own entrance and terrace is located on a small bay near Erbeskopf (816 km). There is a parking lot near the house and also places to store your bikes. This cottage is an award winner.

There are many opportunities to walk, cycle or make a day trip to Mosel (15 minutes by car), Erbeskopf, Idar-Oberstein (35 km) and Trier (30 minutes by car). Trier is the oldest city in Germany and is definitely worth a visit. Wir waren vom 26.04. bis 05.10.24 in diesem schönen Haus. Der Gastgeber und die Gastgeberin sind sehr freundlich und nichts ist ihnen zu viel. Wir fühlten uns bei einer Flasche Wein und hausgemachten Leckereien sehr willkommen. Im Haus ist absolut ALLES vorhanden. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön mit 2 Sonnenliegen und 2 Sitzbereichen. Das große Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein schönes Doppelbett. In Morbach kann man hervorragend einkaufen. Wir haben einen schönen Spaziergang in der näheren Umgebung gemacht. Wir suchten mit dem Auto ein paar weiter entfernte Wanderwege auf. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Leo und Lidie aus Montfoort.

Een prima huisje op de begane grond. Op de 1e etage wonen de mensen zelf. Je hebt een eigen ingang, en veel privé. De woning is prima geschikt voor max 4 personen. Alles is aanwezig en keurig netjes verzorgt. De woning is ook goed geïsoleerd en dat merk je, het is binnen behaaglijk. Het ligt is een piepklein dorpje, afgelegen. Voor rust en natuur zoekers is het prima. De omgeving is mooi, je kunt diverse kanten uit voor uitstapjes. Heel leuk voor een weekje er tussenuit.

Wat een leuk huisje. En wat een aardige mensen. Een heerlijke omgeving voor ons wandelaars, aan het eind van het dal, je loopt zo het bos in. Het meest complete huisje ooit: zwaar geïsoleerd, heerlijke bedden, een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, grote ramen met uitzicht op het dalletje en terrassen op het zuiden en het westen. Prachtige tuin aan de beek, in een heerlijk rustig dal. Met af en toe een bus. Restaurant op 1,7 kilometer is uitstekend. Aanrader!

Het is een fris, gezellig en schoon appartement. De verhuurder is heel attent en voorziet in alle benodigdheden. Het vakantieadres ligt aan de rand van een klein, knus dorpje met een goed Landhaus restaurant. De Zummethohe bij Piesport is een aanrader om te bekijken.

We komen al jaren in dit vakantiehuis. Het is netjes, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De rust is fantastisch en vanuit Merschbach kun je overal naar toe. De huis eigenaren zijn attent en behulpzaam .Als je iets nodig hebt kun je altijd bij ze terecht. Een warm welkom iedere keer weer met de tulband, een fles wijn en water in de koeling. Begin september verbleven wij 1 week in de zeer comfortabele woning van de vriendelijke en gastvrije familie Burkart. De woning is rustig gelegen in een klein dorp en heeft drie terrassen, waarvan 1 aan de beek. We hebben diverse wandelingen gemaakt naar o.a. Horath en Haag en de Holzbachklamm en hebben heerlijk gegeten in Grafendhron bij het Landhaus restaurant. We kijken terug op een mooie week met veel zon, wat onweer met regen en hagel. Het is beslist een aanrader voor een volgende vakantie.

Lieve mensen wij waren hier voor de 4de keer en zoals altijd alles weer picobello. Vlak bij de woning hadden wij een klapband ook dan staan zij voor je klaar en hebben geholpen om de band gerepareerd te krijgen bij de garage voor een goede prijs niets dan lof voor deze mensen die altijd voor je klaar staan. Wij gaan dan ook zeker er weer naar toe.

We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen in het appartement van de familie Burkart. Voor onze dochter van anderhalf was het een waar paradijs: heel veel speelgoed en ‘s ochtends naar de koeien kijken in de wei aan de overzijde van het appartement. Het ligt erg lieflijk en rustig; we hebben mooie fietstochten gemaakt.

Het is een heel fijn en net en zeer schoon appartement, en echt alles is aanwezig. Je kunt ook lekker in de tuin zitten met onderin een klein beekje. Direct vanuit het huisje wandelen in de bossen. Een heel vriendelijk ontvangst, met een heerlijke cake, en je kunt altijd vragen stellen aan de eigenaren..

Entspannung und Sport
Wir wollten Radfahren, wandern und ganz viel Erholung. Für die ersten beiden Dinge waren wir selbst verantwortlich, aber die tolle Umgebung hat beides zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis gemacht. Die Unterkunft war die reinste Oase! Die Gastgeber sind spitze und in der Wohnung haben wir uns super wohl gefühlt. Frühstück auf der Terasse, nach dem "Sport" ein Fußbad im kleinen Bach und abends ein Gläschen Wein auf der Liege im Garten. Nach einer Woche sind wir gut erholt nach Hause gefahren!

Fantastic stay
The hosts were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Everything was comfortable, property and surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. The small stream outside the front door was inviting and relaxing. The road into town is a little challenging and it is a bit away from everything, but for the price and peace, it felt worth it. Was absolutely honored to be your first American guests and would easily book again the next time I am in the area.
