"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."

"There were a number of broken items at the property, outdoor chairs, sun bed, table, glass porch area. Both showers drained very poorly- one was incredibly blocked & we had to clean this out. The strict rules for the property- all breakages would be 30 Euros, felt unfair due to the already damaged furniture in arrival. We certainly left the house in a cleaner state than when we arrived too. The house itself was a large beautiful property, just needed a bit of TLC"

"The house was lovely. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and perfect, fully enclosed garden, for our 2 dogs. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The house is in a tiny hamlet and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Cows and chickens for neighbours! Some lovely walks right out of the end of the drive. We had some chilled out days at the house enjoying the garden and amazing sunrises/sunsets, some activity filled days (swimming in a lake, kayaking, walking), and some visiting days (loads of...
