We liked everything about this property except: 1. There is no ability to control temperature in the suite. The first night we were freezing with temperature about 15C. The next hot and sticky with temperature about 25C and no ability to have airflow; and 2. The 2nd problem is bigger. The suite appears to be an illegal basement suite and does not meet BC code. Once in the bedroom there is no way out except through the kitchen and the garage. If there were a fire in either the occupants would not be able to get out. It is a dangerous situation in my opinion

Apartment in Merritt
We stayed here for 2 weeks this summer. The apartment is very clean, secure and comfortable. The hosts are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this home rental to anyone traveling to Merritt!
