"We spent a family Christmas here and weren’t disappointed. The property itself is large enough for 9-10 people comfortably, with lots of space. The village is wonderful, very quaint, with some superb country walks, but not too far from Dorchester or Yeovil.The only issues we had were with some of the mattresses in some rooms being too soft, but that’s down to personal preference.Overall, would highly recommend."

Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. "The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset. "

Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... But also the often overlooked items in reviews like the shower - great pressure and heat, towels were big, fluffy and robust, more than enough hangers in the wardrobe....
