"We stayed with our cross country team for a training trip (12 young adults). The cabin provided everything we needed and more. I was a little worried that there was not an indoor dining area but with the covered deck and plenty of folding tables and chairs, we really enjoyed the outdoor setting for our meals. I would love to come back with my family as the space also seemed to be fun for all ages and was really close to 3 different parks and the surrounding area had a lot of fun outdoor recreation options."

"Hall's Creek Retreat is a lovely place to stay while in the Black River Falls area. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well-maintained. It is a spacious, forested area with Hall's Creek nearby and easy access to other water sites. It's a wonderful area to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in the Black River State Forest"

"Perfect area for side by side trail riding!! There are only a few options for food close by and not much options for breakfast. I would bring up some of your own food/snacks. The lake is right across the road and is absolutely beautiful!! You cannot fish right across the road you have to go to boat dock down the road. We loved the area and you will see deer in the yard. They have a fire pit with a little patio which is perfect to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Only stayed 2 days and it wasn’t long enough will definitely be back for a longer stay!! 😊"
