The age of the property does show, as it is in need of renovation in ALL the Bathrooms and the downstairs Kitchen. The property should be renovated at this price point. The chipboard cupboards downstairs have absorbed an unpleasant smell so we had to use room freshener every day. There were also very large stains on the doonas that would have been hidden if they were in covers. Timber look vinyl planks throughout would be better than the stained carpets also and they are better in a humid climate.
Now - the wonderful positives - The location is fabulous and the sea view from the back balcony was superb plus it is walking distance to one of the beaches. The space in this house meant everyone had a place of their own and the rooms themselves are large. The renovated upstairs Kitchen is wonderful (just needs new glass fridge shelves). Really good sized backyard for games. Hot water never ran out. Free WiFi and Netflix was a hit. Overall, very tidy and clean, it is just hard to keep old surfaces looking good.
