"Fabulous location within a 2 minute walk to lake for swimming and other water activities. 5 minute drive to quaint downtown Sunapee and 5 minutes to Sunapee mountain! We were in the area for a wedding and our family of 6 fit comfortably into the cozy cabin with an expansive screen porch and comfortable couch seating for all. "The house was exactly what we were looking for! It was so clean and had a great layout. The house felt really private and the area seemed pretty quiet and peaceful, no noisy neighbors. Our older kid loved having the bunk house as a bedroom. And the screened in porch was the most perfect and comfortable place for us to have all of our meals. I was a little worried about the lake when we first arrived. The house is located in a grassy part of the lake. But it is a quick boat ride to the sandbar...

"The house is rather rustic and unfinished, there are construction debris and materials scattered about the property. There are no door mats in case of rain, there were only four towels provided for a six-night stay, the running water in the house smelled like sulfur, bare light bulbs in fixtures, moldy shower curtain, high humidity made staying in the house and sleeping very uncomfortable, the surface of the dining island was contact paper, fire pit broken, abandoned property right next door in...

Comfortable furniture, cool layout, well stocked kitchen materials, spectacular surroundings, isolated feeling even though there were houses fairly nearby.
