Had to wait over half an hour to even be seen when there were two members of staff and only one other guest trying to check in.
The room was filthy - I stood in something sticky, the surfaces were black with dust, dirt and hair, there were even wasps on the bed.
The room is also way smaller than the listing gives the impression, I could only just squeeze my suitcase in and could not open it. Everything in the build could be heard and there was a window above the door so if felt like you could be watched without privacy.
Worst, I booked the place specifically with WIFI as a priority because I have to work and take video meetings but it did not reach the room. The reception to their credit tried several things but nothing worked. They tried to charge me more and move me to another room but the problem would be the same and I should not be charged more for their fault.
In the end, everything took over an hour and I had to leave and book another hotel with working WIFI. They dealt with things poorly and while I'm normally patient and understanding this has left me with a sense of injustice and lack of care. I don't know if I'll even get my refund.
