Villa Carpe Diem - Ancien corps de ferme avec piscine

In the heart of the village of Méréville, we offer you this old 17th century farmhouse with a large swimming pool, not overlooked, 380 m² in size and able to accommodate up to 15 travelers. It features a lovely 100 m² living room (with fireplace), a fully-equipped kitchen, eight bedrooms, three bathrooms and a 5,000 m² garden with terraces. We're waiting for you!

The dwelling is composed as follows:

Ground floor:
- A 100 m² living room with TV, fireplace (wood supplied at extra cost), sofas, armchairs and dining area.
- A fully-equipped kitchen including electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, Senseo pod coffee maker, food processor... and utility room
- A study
- Bedroom 1: queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bathroom with shower, bath and double washbasin
- 2 separate WCs

First floor:
- Bedroom 3: double bed (140×190) and WC
- Bedrooms 4 to 8: double bed (140×190)
- Bathroom with shower, bath and double sinks
- Shower room with shower, double basins and WC
- Separate WC

Outside :
- A large swimming pool (private, heated by heat pump), approx. 62 m², open from April to October (opening dates non-contractual), secured by an alarm and surrounded by a large composite beach with sun loungers
- An attractive 5,000 m² garden enclosed by walls and trees, facing east and south, with garden furniture
- An L-shaped terrace of 125 m² facing south and 60 m² facing east, with furniture to enjoy the sunny days.

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: basketball hoop, barbecue, gas plancha, traditional barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

The house is ideally located in Méréville, in very pleasant and quiet surroundings close to Nancy. All essential shops are nearby.

Spacious house with character ideal for a family gathering
We stayed in December and once the house had warmed up it was very comfortable. There was lots of space for everyone and the big living area with its fireplace was great for spending time together. The house is old, so some doors and locks are a little out of joint, but overall the house is in good repair. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful.

Villa Carpe Diem Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Leider ging die Spülung einer Toilette nicht und in einem Bad hatten wir nach einmal Duschen kein Warmwasser mehr. Alles in allem aber eine tolle Unterkunft und auch die Zubuchung der Bettwäsche verlief reibungslos. Nur hätten wir uns bei 15 Personen mehr als zwei Geschirrhandtücher gewünscht.

Die Vermietung läuft über eine Agentur,die aber nicht wirklich Ansprechpartner ist.Man muss sich zusätzlich (Daten über Airbnb schon erfasst) über eine Website anmelden.Dann bekommt man eine Telefonnummer und Namen für die Person,die als Ansprechpartner fungieren soll.Ich fand die Kommunikation sehr zäh.Ich hatte mehrmals gesagt,dass wir eigenes Bettzeug mitbringen und dennoch waren die Betten bezogen Handtücher ausgelegt.Auf Nachfrage, weil wir den Service nicht bezahlen wollten (150 €),war es ein ""Neujahrsgeschenk"". Die Türen der Unterkunft bleiben häufig im Rahmen hängen,weil sie verzogen sind. Die Unterkunft ist okey, jedoch die schlechte Kommunikation macht das Ganze schwierig.Ein fremder Mann stand plötzlich in der Unterkunft. Er hat noch einen Schlüssel vom Haus,weil die Eigentümer seine Rechnung nicht bezahlt haben.Die Agentur hat sich nicht zuständig gefühlt."

Le jardin est énorme, ce qui a permis aux enfants de jouer librement et faire pleins de jeux (chasse au trésor, cache-cache et autres). La piscine est biensur la cherise sur le gâteau. Cette grande maison de famille est très accueillante ainsi que les propriétaires . Tout était parfait! On reviendra avec plaisir.

Villa Carpe Diem Sehr schönes Haus mit traumhaft tollem und weitläufigem Außenbereich. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch mit einer großen Gruppe hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden von den Vermietern herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder:)
