I appreciated all the soap, washing up liquid, loo roll, etc. that was there, as well as the welcome milk in the fridge. You can arrive and straight away have a cuppa (tea bags and coffee were there too) and use the loo, without even starting to unpack. There was plenty of hot water, but the shower is touchy. "You could not find a better location to stay in Bath: lovely neighborhood, a very short walk to the bus/train station and into the city centre. Close to groceries, coffee and tea shops, shopping, and restaurants. We walked the river and canals easily from Kate's well-appointed home. The kitchen offered all the means for preparing and eating meals. The washer and dryer were a real plus. The home is older and would benefit from a refresh but suited us just fine. Do note that there are four flights...

"Beautifully renovated cottage that offered easy access to fulfill needs of our visit without having to rent a car with its attendant frightening UK driving. We loved the hand hewn exposed wooden beams. The only downside for us was street side loud vocalizations by apparently drunken pedestrians that occasionally kept us awake at night."

"The property was extremely clean and spacious downstairs. The lounge had a large toy corner which was wonderful for our 3 year old grandson. Upstairs was lovely but bedrooms were a bit cramped. Being winter we all had large warm jackets and it would have been useful to have a coat stand or hooks in the hall. We had to drape them over the kitchen chairs. Overall a very pleasant property. "
