The property is located within the thirteenth-century village Castello della Pieve, surrounded by green woods, the place where Dante Alighieri's exile was decreed back in 1301 and home of hidden treasures like the small eighteenth-century church and the medieval tower. This historic residence is a jewel set in the heart of the Montefeltro area, not too far away from Urbino.

Casa del Mandorlo has a garden with sofas, table and chairs for outdoor dining and a private pool. Indoor you will find the equipped kitchen and the dining room with a large fireplace. A small hallway connects two double bedrooms and a bathroom, while on an upper floor you will find two more double bedrooms, each one of them with a mezzanine and an en-suite bathroom. On the ground floor, with direct access to the garden and the pool area, there is another bathroom and a living room with TV. The original structure is combined with the functionality of the rooms and the bathrooms with comfortable showers and handcrafted sinks in stone and crystal.

The villa is inside the small village of Castello della Pieve.

The village of Mercatello sul Metauro, which has been awarded 'Orange Flag' village by the Italian Touring Club, is just 3 km away: here guests will find all the main services.

A real must in this area is definitely having a swim in the nearby bathing river and cooling off under its natural waterfalls. For all golf lovers, the Golf Course Alpe della Luna (9 holes) inside the Natural Regional Reserve Alpe della Luna is just a few km from the villa. Not too far away is also the Natura Park Sasso Simone e Simoncello. Almost 30 km away is then Urbino, the birthplace of Raphael and Federico da Montefeltro and a city admired by Piero della Francesca
