Beyond words
What an amazing property. We have stayed in Arenal D'en Castell on a number of occasions and this is by far, the most exceptional property we have been in. The views over the rocks and out to sea are amazing at sunset and sunrise, the villa itself was perfect for the three of us but will easily accommodate six, and the owner was a joy to meet (by arrangement) part way through our stay. The photos don't do the villa justice. We have tried to reserve again for next year but our preferred dates have been booked. We will keep in touch with the owner and are more than happy to recommend.

Lovely Time in Menorca
Property was exactly as described. Lovely location. Menorca is small so we could travel anywhere in about 30 minutes. Beautiful smalll villages as well as two larger towns made for a great trip. Restaurants were top notch. We had the added treat of getting to know the VRBO owners. I would recommend this VRBO without hesitation.

Comfortable and clean accommodation in a pleasant setting. Nice pool and great views, and good snorkelling in a sheltered bay close by. A genial host who did not intrude on our privacy and a small supermarket within easy walking distance. What's not to like? I would recommend this property if you are planning to visit Menorca.

What a fabulous property. The villa was simple, clean and spacious with everything you could need. The view is stunning, the pool so warm and cleaned regularly. A minutes walk to the cove, we snorkled and swam everyday with barely another soul. A short easy walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Yet such a quiet area. FABULOUS holiday.

Wow, just wow.
We’ve just returned from a week in this beautiful property. First of all the villa was immaculate, cleaned to a very high standard and everything looked new. The views are even better than the pictures could ever do justice. The pool is lovely, there’s nothing more you could ask for., especially when there’s a welcome package of bread, milk, beer and wine. The beach is a very short walk away, as are the bars and restaurants. It’s a quiet area but in a good way, fantastic for families. We have already talked about booking again for next year. Amazing island, amazing villa.

Fantastic!
We loved this property, the views are spectacular! You feel like you’re the only people on the island as you look out from any window, but you can walk to lovely restaurants and a beach within 10 minutes. Plus a private cove to snorkel right below the house, incredible! We explored a different part of the island every day, but would have been happy staying by the pool too. Also beds are comfortable and A/c worked perfectly.

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views
This villa is a great place to stay. It ticked all the boxes for us. Exceptionally clean, in a lovely neighbourhood, not overlooked and very quiet other than the sound of the waves against the rocks. The pool is a really good size and very clean. We were a party of two adults, two teenagers and a 10 year old and we had plenty of room inside and out. If you enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving this is the place to stay. A three minute walk down to the water. My children spent most days snorkelling and saw a variety of marine life and corals. The water is crystal clear. The pool is in the sun all day and if you want to laze on a sun lounger you can follow the sun round too. There is a small supermarket within walking distance (about 10 minutes) which stocks a whole variety of food. We didn’t feel the need to visit a larger store as it had everything we needed. There is an Italian restaurant next door to the supermarket which also sells takeaway pizzas etc which was good. The walk to the main restaurants is only about 20 minutes and is a very pleasant walk with street lighting and pavements so safe for children and ideal if you have children in buggies. Menorca is a wonderful clean island and the people are so friendly. The owner of the villa made us feel so welcome and kindly left us some provisions upon arrival. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

Fantastic Location
We spent one week in this amazing villa. 5 adults and one teenager and it was perfect! The house has every thing you need and it was so clean. The pool is big and a nice temp but for me the best thing was watching the beautiful sunrise every morning. The view from the villa of the sea is one i will never forget. We had such a good holiday we are going back again next year. The property owner was really friendly and very helpful. I can not recommend this villa enough. All local beaches and restaurants are just a walk away too... perfect.

Review fo Ficula Nou Saturday 6th of October to Friday 19th October.
We came to Arenal in June / July and loved it so much that we wanted to return. This time we were looking for something a bit different and real get away from it all break. We found the villa on the internet it appealed to us in that it was in the right location had fabulous views and still accessible to amenities but not overlooked. The villa was fabulous and was everything that we wanted. It is in a stunning location, with views out to see and the rocky coastline and it is not overlooked on any side. The rooms with large and airy, the villa was spotlessly clean and the lounge was in a fantastic position where you could look out to see if you just wanted some time in doors. The pool, patio and surrounding area were excellent. the pool was very accessible with steps down to the pool which helped my wife who struggles to access this type of pool and was an infinity pool so looking straight out to see. The pool was a good size, safe and we spent a lot of our holiday in there. The patio was safe and well kept which is important particularly if you have children and spacious also we had plenty of room to spread ourselves out and " follow the sun ". The garden area around was also pleasant and gave more space between the villa and the path that runs alongside the villa but still maintains its privacy. The housekeeper was excellent made a thorough job of all cleaning and always on hand to pas on useful advice and help if we needed it. There is a restaurant and supermarket within walking distance and were certainly sufficient to service our basic needs. Arenal itself is within easy walking distance via a couple of different routes and the beaches are therefore easily accessible on foot. All we can say is that my wife said to me , and we have been on many holidays in many different locations, that this was the best holiday she had ever been on. This was infact true praise from someone who knows what she wants and will certainly criticise constructively where appropriate. We can not recommend this villa, the location, the service offered by Mr Olives and the housekeeper highly enough and if we could we offer more than 5 stars. We enjoyed it so much we are returning in May. We hope that others find the villa and experience as rewarding, enjoyable and relaxing as we did. John and Elizabeth Clague.

Fantastic setting
Inside the property has 3 reasonably sized bedrooms, 1 with en suite, a further shower room and a large kitchen/lounge/dining room, but it is outside that is what this villa is all about. A large patio surrounding a good sized pool and an outside dining area with BBQ is a good start, but it is the view that transcends all. 30 yards from a small cove on top of a small cliff, so that the sound of the waves is a continuous backdrop - the location could not be bettered. The views are stunning and unhindered by any other properties. We arrived late at night, so it was most welcome that Robert had provided some staples - a bottle of wine, some beer, water, milk, bread, butter, jams, loo rolls etc were all there, which was a nice touch. When we had locked ourselves out (our fault), a call to Robert soon sorted things out and I could not thank Robert, and the maid Maruja, enough for sorting things out so quickly. A great villa and one that we would like to return to. Thanks, Huw

Wonderful!
This villa is a little gem! Spotlessly clean throughout, and the pool/areas. Modern interior, wonderful panoramic windows overlooking the blue blue waters. The views are amazing, right by the ocean. You can hear the sounds of the seas, as it laps up against the craggy rocks, it is wild and unspoilt, but still close enough to local amenities. There is a well stocked mini market just up the road which we used couple of times, but chose to do the main shopping at the supermarcedo in Mahon. There was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, and after our long journey it was just what we needed. It was such a relaxing break, private and enchanting. We are already thinking about when we can go back. The owner was very helpful and professional at all times. Highly recommended.

Erholung pur bei Robert
Wir hatten 10 supertolle und erholsame Tage in der Finca verbracht. Sie war so ausgestattet wie beschrieben, und fehlte nichts. Während des Aufenthaltes hatten wir zwei technische Probleme, die innerhalb kürzester Zeit von Robert behoben wurden. Auch die Kommunikation mit Frau Mendoza war mehr als zielführend.
